International Academy of Clinical Thermography
Association for the Advancement of Diagnostic Thermal Imaging

Founded in 1983, the IACT serves as a non-profit organization providing resources in clinical thermography to both the health care community and the general public.

Thermography has proved itself as an important tool which aids in the diagnosis of cancer, neurological, muscular, vascular, metabolic and endocrine disorders. The IACT has currently seen an increase in the utilization of clinical thermography and believes this will continue rapidly into the future. We fully understand that this will require close supervision to insure the maximum quality in its applications. By providing standards and guidelines for quality assurance, high quality education, stringent certification standards, and research the IACT, seeks to maintain and promote advancements in clinical thermography as a valid diagnostic tool for use in patient care.
